What have we been up to?
I’ve been busy with meetings and creating new curricula for a brand new training program for Family Medicine physicians here in Modesto. It is a different way for my brain to work and has been really fun already. My most recent meeting was with an architect asking my input about how to design the residency continuity clinic space!
I am very excited to have found an amazing electronic health record which will help us bring great options to All In Health patients. Plus we recently received our official fictitious name permit from the medical board of California so we are so very close to being able to start seeing patients!
Also I’ve found two beautiful cafes in the area and can’t wait to go back. I’m already a regular at a café downtown called Lucille. Try the oat milk cappuccino and the South x Southwest or the beet bowl! At the Palo Santo Café in Riverbank, my husband and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary by sharing the Everything Seasoned Avocado Toast and the Breakfast Sopesitos. I had the café con leche, but next time I’ll try the Cubano. I’ll definitely be using these places for some of my remote work in the coming months.

I’ve been getting settled in my new clinical practice at Livingston Community Health Center in Modesto over the last few weeks. A new location means a new EMR and many new patients. I’m looking forward to making new friends and serving the community through my work at this new clinic. I’ve also had a chance to enjoy some traveling and relaxing. Looking forward to an upcoming cruise to Ensenada to celebrate my birthday!
