Understanding Direct Primary Care…

It’s been over a year since my business partner and I joined the direct primary care movement and started our own direct primary care clinic here in Modesto, CA. Many people still do not fully understand how a direct primary care clinic model is different from a traditional primary care clinic model. First and foremost, “DIRECT” means NO middleman between you and your doctor. This means no insurance companies will dictate your care and you receive direct access to your doctor any time you need it. One of our objectives is to provide convenience for our patients. In a traditional primary care model, we’ve found patients waiting over 3 months to be seen as a new patient, with limited availability for for follow up visits, and no same day or walk in appointments available at all. In addition to convenience, we offer improved access for our patients who can email, call, or text us directly on our mobile phones. Finally, although we don’t accept insurances, we’ve curated an affordable monthly membership rate that can be found on this website. Your membership includes any concerns you may have regarding sexual health, mental health, and healthy living. Some of our patients also use their membership as a supplement to their already existing medical care.
